This Portfolio <i>Jean Larivière</i> celebrates a 30-years collaboration between the artist and the House. Looking for a sensitive and artistic interpretation of its universe. Louis Vuitton began its collaboration with Jean Larivière in 1978, a cooperative project that would take him around the globe, from Greenland to Tibet, New York to Yemen. Part of this mutual project was <i>“L’Œuvre”</i>, a series of wonderful black and white photographs that can be discovered in this limited edition portfolio. Following the original structure of the series, the pictures revolve around 3 themes: “Asnières“ (1984), “La comète“ (Halley comete, 1986) and “Les tribulations d’un LV en Inde“ (1986-1988). Only 50 copies are available in selected stores all individually signed by the artist; a rare object capturing “The Art of Travel” as imagined by Jean Larivière and Louis Vuitton more than 30 years ago.
