JoKh_Louis_Vuitton_Savoir_Faire ,The company has a tradition of innovation by masters of the craft, which continues to the modern day. Louis Vuitton began in 1854 as a manufacturer of expensive and well-made steamer trunks. The growth of travel by rail and ship at the beginning of the 20th century meant that luggage was in-demand. New print ads feature three different artisans from their factories as well as stories of the delicate tasks that go into the creation of the leather goods, equating the Vuitton product with classic masterpieces known for their rarity and worth. Since its creation, Vuitton has offered customers the possibility of Special Orders to cater a specific need or to fulfill a particular desire. It’s been over a century and a half of exceptional savoir-faire. Vuitton’s first workshop in Asnières, France, shows exceptional expertise in respective professions, uniting tradition and modernity. The workshop is a production facility where hard-frame and soft-sided luggage, special orders, exotic leather and limited-edition bags continue to be made today. They are interpreted in a variety of materials, from the LV Monogram and Damier Graphite canvas, to Nomade leather and alligator. The hard-sided case equipped with Louis Vuitton’s signature natural leather handle, brass S-lock and corners. Patrick Louis-Vuitton is the head of Louis Vuitton's Special Orders department and a member of the fifth generation of the Vuitton family. Pieces created by some of the most talented individuals in their respective professions are for sale in limited-edition pieces, made by hand.
